What It Does
novaMigrate™ for Google Apps enables organizations like yours to migrate Lotus Notes email, calendar and contact data to Google Apps simply and efficiently.
How It Works
Whether your project consists of 90,000 users spread across six continents or 150 users located in a single office, novaMigrate™ enables your organization with the freedom to migrate all your Lotus Notes email and calendar information to GMail using one of two options. Migrate users as a server side process managed by Administrators or as a Self-Service process managed by the individual user.
Self Service Migrations
novaMigrate™ empowers your company to significantly reduce the costs associated with a mail migration by providing users with a self-service option. This option enables users to migrate data for their mail, calendar and contacts whenever they choose. This one of a kind self-service tool relieves the bottleneck on both the IT staff and your network by phasing the timing of migrations on an individual basis. Through our extensive experience, we have discovered that users have very different expectations on the amount of mail they would like migrated and timeframes for the overall migration. Some users require all their mail including attachments and local archives migrated while others will be content with mail for a distinct period of time such as a couple of months or years.
novaMigrate™ empowers your company with built in flexibility for the way your users want their mail and calendar data. Users select and control what mail gets migrated. novaMigrate™ also provides the flexibility to enable users to migrate their mail during off hours and selected times when network usage is low.
Server Side Migrations
Tempus Nova believes that for every migration, there will be a select group of users who need their mail migrated on the server side. These users usually include:
- Company Executives
- Human Resources
- Legal Departments
- Users with Retention or SOX Requirements
- Group Mail Boxes & Mail-In Databases
For these groups and others that require a server side migration, novaMigrate™ can easily handle the server side migration process.
Pre-Migration
novaMigrate™ also provides the flexibility to do a premigration of selected user's mail prior to the go-live date. Afterwards, simply perform a Delta migration immediately prior to the go-live date for the remaining users to streamline the total migration effort.

Mail Migration
